Got Progesterone questions? 🤔

If you're having regular cycles, we generally recommend cycling progesterone so it doesn't mess up your cycles.

If you're having irregular cycles or no cycles, we usually recommend daily use.

In menopause, if you're on estrogen and have a uterus, you need at least 12 consecutive days of progesterone each month.

Does thyroid medication HAVE to be taken on an empty stomach? 🤔

We've always told people to take it this way because many foods can interfere with thyroid absorption.

But, this new study may offer another option for people who don't like waiting hours after awakening to eat breakfast. ✅

Obviously, talk to your doctor before changing how you take your medication.

Do you take your thyroid without food? Or with it? ☕

Is transdermal estradiol safe in people with blood clot history? 🤔

Yes.

The ESTHER study as well as many other large observational studies have not shown increased risk with transdermal estradiol. ✅

Similarly, we believe transdermal estradiol is safe for women with history or cardiovascular disease, stroke, and migraine with aura. .

Have you been told you can't have estrogen? Why? ❓

If you don't make it ... Take it!

Low dose vaginal estrogen is CHEAP. You only need 2-3 grams a week so this $35 tube from GoodRx or will last a couple of months.

Cost Plus Drugs has the same thing for $13. No insurance needed. 😍

You do need a prescription (sadly) but it's incredibly beneficial and extremely safe (even for BC survivors).

I wish I'd invented it myself but, alas, I did not.

When it comes to your estrogen dose and bone building... Yes!

Low dose estrogen can help prevent bone loss but higher doses are needed for bone building.

Oral progesterone can be great for many women. ✅

Of course, estrogen too if night sweats are a problem.

And I also like things like L-Theanine, Magnesium Glycinate, Glycine, and Melatonin.
